Injustice

T0
There have been more than 1000 cases of death in police custody in Britain since 1969 but no single officer has ever been convicted of wrongdoing. This fiercely polemical documentary (seven years in the making) examines the issues around four such deaths, together with emotional aftermath of family grief and official denials that surrounded them. Those who died in this case were black men and women, who have invariably become faceless criminal statistics, a situation Injustice courageously attempts to reverse. But the Police Federation has its own agenda too and has threatened legal action against any cinema trying to show this film.
