This major film stars Judi Dench and Kate Winslet as Iris Murdoch at different times of her life. Based on the book by John Bayley, Murdoch's husband, it examines the couple and their marriage, from the 1950's to her sad death from Alzheimer's disease. The Birmingham branch of the Alzheimer's Society are pleased to announce a charity screening of the film
Iris. All profits will go to the Birmingham branch of the society.
