Royal Society for the Protection of Birds - The Eagle Odyssey
T0
Over three years in the making and using spectacular, never seen before footage,
The Eagle Odyssey tells the remarkable story of the sea eagle. Discover this stunning bird's habits and behaviour and how its close relationship with man has proved a mixed, but ultimately successful. Association. The sea eagle is the UK's largest bird of prey. Once persecuted to the point of extinction in Scotland, the birds were reintroduced to the west Highlands and Islands thanks to the Sea Eagle Project Team. With only 30 breeding pairs and an almost mystic ability to conceal their presence, they are rarely seen. A special performance of Gaelic music and song, by Arthur Cormack, Ingrid Henderson, Mary Ann Kennedy and the photography of Cailean Maclean will precede the film.
