Here, according to the film's publicity 'riots, guns, drugs...the madness of true street culture...yuppies, clubbers, scammers, internet anarchists...and the widescreen of the new millennium' dip and dive in a Rubik Cube of five interlocking stories brought together by a weird CD-rom. But is Britpic isn't simply more mugs with big attitudes; there's a real visual intensity and some genuinely innovative moves in a tale that comes close to producing that elusive object - a sound commercial British movie that mostly delivers exactly what it promises.
