Radio talk-show host Jack unwittingly convinces a disturbed man to massacre the customers at a restaurant after calling in for advice. After three years of living in remorse, he is attacked and almost set on fire, but is rescued by a deranged transient, parry, himself in need of assistance - he is on a mission to find the Holy Grail. Jack tries to repay his kindness with money, but Parry only wants the DJ to help him find the Grail and win the hand of the fair Lydia.
