Details

Zar Gul offers a vivid depiction of one man's fight against oppression and political injustice. Shot in villages in the North West Frontier and Islamabad Peerzada presents us with a view of modern Pakistan and the diversity of its people. Zar Gul is a story of a contemporary folk here, a successful Pathan businessman, who becomes an outlaw to fight the corrupt power of gang lord Yar Badshah. The film paints a romantic, mystical and ruggedly golden picture of Pakistan's panoramic scenery of mountains, deserts and plains with a richness of colour and detail to its communities both rural and urban.
