A double-bill of magical puppet theatre for adults and accompanied children aged 7 years and over. Adapted from an old Chinese legend, A Brush with the Emperor tells the story of Liang, who longs to escape his life of drudgery and become a painter. His dreams bring unexpected close encounters with a greedy, evil emperor. In Oscar Wilde's The Happy Prince, a migrating swallow is distracted from his flight by the moonlit tears of the prince's statue.
