Leonardo, an inventor, builds a machine. He uses simple engineering elements, such as levers, gears and pulleys and gets motive power from falling weights. As each new section of the machine emerges, we learn more about Leonardo's life as he is visited by some of the most influential figures of our times. At the end of the performance the completed, working machine is revealed. A celebration of invention and technology for people aged 9-12.
