Created by Gepetto, the puppet boy Pinocchio begins his exploration of life with a visit to the puppet theatre where he meets Mr Punchinello and Harlequin. He is lead astray by the circus ringmaster and tempted by the fox and cat, as he treads the tightrope of life through experiences that challenge, entertain and amuse both him and the audience alike. Norwich Puppet Theatre brings to life the classic Collodi story of Pinocchio in this unique new production, using a variety of puppet styles - including Bunraku, glove, marionette and shadow, combined with mask theatre.
