Rip, Fold, Scrunch

Rip, Fold, ScrunchT1452513596
A butterfly flutters. A kite soars. Children play. But not everyone has something to play with. Join Rip, Fold and Scrunch as they journey into the multicoloured world of friendship, with the help of some magical paper creations. Inspired by the imagination and play of children, Half Moon's enchanting new show fuses theatre, Kathak dance and music within a paper world, which is created and dismantled before our eyes. After the performance audience members are invited to come and experiment with paper - ripping, folding and scrunching their own creations. Rip, Fold, Scrunch was first developed as part of Half Moon's Exchange For Change project, funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. The artists involved worked closely with a local nursery group to create a captivating play that stimulates and reflects the imagination of the very young.
