Details

The story of Sita and Rama comes from the great Hindu epic The Ramayana and symbolises good winning over evil. It tells of the banishment of Prince Rama and his wife Sita into the wilderness, the abduction of Princess Sita by the ten headed monster and her imprisonment in a dark land. It charts Rama's search for his wife and of her eventual rescue, with the help of the monkeys of the forest. The story culminates in a Festival of Lights (Diwali) celebrating their return home after fourteen years in exile. Age 5+
