One moonlit night on Outoverdown Farm, a baby is discovered in a lambing pen with a note pinned to its shawl - 'Please Save This Lamb'. As Spider Sparrow grows, everyone can see he's not like other children. He has an extraordinary way with animals, for one thing - foxes, otters, horses. He can even gentle wild American broncos.
