Come join the Owl and Pussycat - recently engaged to be married - as they sail to the land where the Bong Tree grows (carrying a honeypot, money and other travel essentials, naturally) and where they meet new friends. But beware of the Plum Pudding Flea whose gluttonous appetite means that he will eat anyone and everyone that he can get his hands on - all except for The Runcible Spoon who can protect everyone. Throw in the Quangle Wangle, lots of Jumblies plus, of course, a surprisingly angry Pig and a be-fuddled 'reverend' Turkey, then chaos and great fun - with lots of audience participation - is bound to come your way. So join us for a feast of colour, magic and great music as once more Brentwood Theatre provides THE ideal family show this Christmas. Kindly supported by Dave Godin Lighting and Sound.Company Brentwood Theatre Company. Performer Jack Merival (Owl). Performer Sarah Rushton (Pussycat). Performer Julia Curle (The Runcible Spoon). Performer Robert Paul (The Plum Pudding Flea). Performer Colin Reed (The Pig/Turkey). Performer Andrew Lindfield (Andrew Lindfield (The Professor0).

50 mins with no interval. Suitable for ages 3+. You probably think you know all there is to know about the owl and the pussycat and their marine adventure, but this ebullient show tells us much more. The pussycat is actually a stowaway, while the owl is running away from home to shame because he can't fly. Owl and Pussycat gleefully embark on their moonlit voyage, breaking into occasional songs and nifty little dances. Although the tiny boat is only the size of a bath tub, they play daft games of hide-and-seek and sardines in it, to the chartling delight of the audience.Company Tall Stories.
