In Tibet, the 'rooftop of the world', when times are happy, a strange and wonderful Snow Lion dances on the mountain tops, leaping from peak to peak. But for some time now, it has not been seen and it is feared that the Fur Lions of the East have destroyed it. A little girl, Dolma, has a strange dream and as a result sets out on a brave quest to find the Snow Lion, a journey which takes her through the mountains of Tibet to the bleak Northern Plain. She is helped on her way by a wise old man called Milarepa and together they face terrible dangers with wit and song. But most of all, Dolma must learn to follow her heart if she is to save the Snow Lion and Tibet. Wonderful spectacle, colour and dance.
