The Snowman has been essential seasonal TV viewing for nearly four decades. But experiencing it on Snape Maltings' big screen to the accompaniment of live orchestra adds a special magic. Poulenc's charming piece is composed after a famous French children's book. Narrated by the voice of BBC Radio 4 news, Zeb Soanes, it is accompanied by projections of Jean de Brunhoff's beautiful original 1930 illustrations
