Bye Bye Birdie archiveWhen America's hottest rock sensation, Conrad Birdie, is inducted into the U.S. Army, his manager, Albert Peterson, panics. But Albert's secretary, Rose Alvarez, concocts one final publicity stunt -- Birdie will bid a typical American teenage girl good-bye with one last kiss on the Ed Sullivan Show. Kim MacAfee of Sweet Apple, Ohio wins the honor, but her boyfriend and parents aren't too keen on the idea, especially when Birdie moves in turning everyone's life upside down!
