At the top of the Grand Hotel, the corrupted angel, Lucus, throws his wild parties to fuel his own disillusionment, watching the depravity of mortals and laughing. But when his personal assignment, a watchmaker, falls to his death, Lucus is hauled into the Court of Immortal Longing and interrogated by the Examining Angel. Forced to confront his crisis of faith, Lucus may only achieve redemption if he can offer hope to four mortals - a tramp, a woman with a budgerigar, a man in love with a lamp stand and a psychiatrist. The action takes place over one night - from dusk til dawn. These ordinary mortals, with their desires and ambitions, hold the key to him winning back his wings. By 2am he s drunk and in love. By 3am, he has his whole life ahead of him. The Corrupted Angel is driven by a compelling and atmospheric, electronic score; dance music, original samples and memorable tunes combine with razor sharp lyrics to create a highly charged piece of physical theatre with a powerful musical score. The original use of film evokes another world beyond our day-to-day reality.
