First Lady Suite takes us into the hearts and minds of history's most famous First Ladies - Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy and Mamie Eisenhower - providing an imaginative and irreverent look behind the scenes of the White House and the women who lived within its walls. Premiering off-Broadway in 2003, First Lady Suite ran for four weeks at the Public Theater in New York and has since received revivals in other major US cities. A revised version of the musical was presented at the Connelly Theater in New York in 2004. A cast recording was released by PS Classics in 2003. In an era where the lack of interesting roles for women over the age of 35 has been well publicised, First Lady Suite offers many exciting, complex and challenging roles for a star cast of West End leading ladies.
