The story concerns the problems facing Ralph, the flamboyant menswear designer who fancies Steve, the onsite architect across the road. Steve (unfortunately for Ralph) is straight and fancies Hannah, Ralph's long-suffering assistant, who in turn adores Ralph and frankly would like him to "change teams" and marry her! The River Thames however intrudes on this unhappy trio necessitating a change of scenery to sunnier climes! HRH The Prince of Wales has requested his private staff to attend the London production!
