Pentimenti primarily concerns a Jewish family caught in the race against time to escape the flattening effects of fascism with whatever dignity enjoyed they can muster. Relocated to the Polish work camp 'Sobibor', the family becomes embroiled in the largest escape attempt of WW2 and through turns of theatrical magic and suspense we witness the outcome and final resolution to a unique story.
