Save the Last Dance for Me

Save the Last Dance for MeT161708671
This nostalgic, feel-good musical journey will transport you back to music's golden era as we follow two teenage sisters, Jennifer and Marie, through the summer of 1963. Full of freedom and high spirits they embark on a family holiday to the coast and a traditional seaside town. The young siblings soon discover much more than just sea and sand when they meet a handsome American airman, who invites them to a dance at the nearby United States Air force base. But young love and holiday romance is never that simple and the sisters soon realise that while the world around them is still watching itself in black and white, life and love can be much more colourful.

Reviews

Overall: 2.38
Mandy (12Oct13): Absolutely amazing show, been to see it in Skegness this afternoon, and if it hadn't been for a 50mile journey home, my Mum and I would have been getting tickets for the evening performance too. The cast were brilliant, the vocals were fabulous, the stage set up fabulous, just all in all, a real feel good show which deserves to be in the West End with all the other great musicals, would recommend to anyone who enjoys a love story and some amazing 60s songs
HJM (25Apr13): Saw Save the Last Dance for me at the Regent last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The music was great and all the cast were very good and very talented - acting, singing and playing the instruments. Well done - would go to see it again.
