Stonewall

One hot summer night in 1969, the downtown Manhattan police were performing a routine shakedown and bust on sleazy drag bar called the Stonewall Inn. But just as they were herding the trannies into the paddy wagon, something strange happened - the normally passive peaceful drag queens started to fight back. Before you know it a fracas had escalated into a three day full on riot that changed the face of modern sexuality.
Stonewall is a riotous musical that tells of the events that lead to that night. Outrageous stories of sexual intrigue, innocent romance and just plan old fashioned bad behaviour that sparked the most glamorous night of civil disobedience in history.
