The Band Wagon (1931) archiveNot seen since 1931, Kaufman (A Night at the Opera) Dietz and Schwartz wrote what was considered at the time to be the finest revue in Broadway history ever, for Fred and Adele Astaire. It was also considered to have the greatest revue score with songs including Dancing in the Dark, I Love Louisa and High and Low. MGM only borrowed a few of the songs for a film using the same title, but none of the sketches which will be shown here for the first time in 80 years.
