Co-produced with Kangaroo Court Theatre Company, this new adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray updates the classic novella, incorporating new technology and an original musical score. One of the songs, entitled Take Me Baby, is a pastiche of a Britney Spears song. It is performed by a modern-day Sybil Vane who has been transformed in Kangaroo Court’s adaptation into a vacant pop-star. This is the first collaboration between Kangaroo Court - acclaimed new writing company behind Lady Chatterley’s Lover (Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Bush Hall, London in 2006) - and the resurgent Tabard Theatre in West London.
