A jilted lover awaits the arrival of his beloved, rehearsing the confrontation he wishes to have, preparing the words he wishes to express his innermost self. This man, with a record of unsatisfactory past loves, failed affairs, a sordid record of searching for love, now desperately reaches for an elusive future in the heart of an imaginary love's content. Despite setbacks and frustration, he senses that perhaps the deep emotions of his soul can reach out and lead to reconciliation.
