Fay Weldon is one of our best loved writers. She has published twenty novels including 'Down among the Women', 'Female Friends', 'Praxis', 'Puffball' and 'The Hearts and Lives of Men', 'Afflication', 'Worst Fears' and 'Spitting'. Some of her most powerful writing is in the short story. Dozens have appeared in periodical form and have been collected in four volumes 'Watching Me, Watching You'. 'Polaris', 'Moon Over Minneapolis' and 'The End of the Line'. Her recent novel 'Big Women' was adapted for television and now appears in paperback. She has written numerous major television plays and contributed to many series.
