Castradiva

T119287328
Set in eighteenth century Italy, this unique piece of music theatre tells how Pedrolino, a celebrated Castrato singer, outwits the Pope and saves the day for his mistress, the Contessa. Buddug Verona James' celebrated solo performance of Castradiva is interwoven with glorious arias by Handel and Gluck, accompanied by harpsichord, bass viol and baroque violin.
