Gathering edited highlights into an hilarious and unexpectedly poignant litany of thwarted optimism, Hippo World Guest Book is the latest in a series of reading-performances by Chris Goode which seek to rescue marginal writings and outsider texts by presenting them in the classic formats of authorised utterance.
