Based on the Tohoku earthquake and subsequent Fukushima nuclear power station disaster in Japan 2011, this is the story of a Japanese businessman who believes he is changing into Godzilla due to radioactive contamination. With music from Clive Bell on Shakuhachi (Japanese flute) and Andy Cox (The Beat, Fine Young Cannibals) on self-made instruments, the award-winning theatre maker Kazuko Hohki (Frank Chickens, Kazuko's Karaoke Klub) in her quirky and inimitable style, tells a story of loss, survival, longing and a horse who can't stand cherry blossoms.
