The Show At the End of the Universe
What is our place in the Universe? Did our Universe really spring into existence in the most violent explosion? Will it end in a seething ball of energy? What is life, are we alone in the Universe? These are questions that continue to perplex even the greatest minds. In a journey of discovery around our Universe, in this show Mark tackles all the hard stuff and turns it into easily digestible chunks with the help of some amazing demonstrations. Mark got his first view through a telescope aged ten and it was this that ignited a passion with astronomy, which is still going strong today. As an astronomy populariser he has been a contributor on The Sky At Night and to Astronomy Now - the national Astronomy magazine. His enthusiastic outreach work and contemporary image has led him to serve on the Council of the Royal Astronomical Society and to speak at many national events including the National Astronomy Meeting.
