We follow the immortalised Sergeant of Police on his round of constabulary duties to be done as his beat takes him from the coast of Penzance onto the deck of HMS Pinafore and even into the Japanese Court of Titipu. On his travels, he manages to arrest a motley array of well loved characters from several of the greatest Gilbert and Sullivan operettas and places them in the dock to hear their defence. But how will these poor offenders defend themselves? By singing and dancing their favourite numbers from G&S shows, of course!
