Details

Apollo and Hyacinth was the first opera composed by the renowned child genius at the tender age of 11. Based on Greek mythology, the opera explores themes of love, jealousy, death and deceit. The youthful score reveals much of the mature genius that was to colour Mozart s short and brilliant existence.
