Susanna's Secret
T0746843480
Susanna's Secret, by Emmanuel Wolf-Ferrari, takes place at the home of a Count Gil and his wife, the Countess Susanna. All is not as it should be in the home - Susanna's unexplained absences and the strong smell of tobacco in the house convinces the Count that something is being kept from him, and the normally loving couple's relationship is threatened by a secret which his wife will not divulge. It wouldn't be right to give away the secret here - all we can say is that the Count risks 'getting his fingers burnt' with his jealous enquiries.
