Audiences at this year's pantomime at the Orchard are in for a pleasant shock when the stage will be plunged into darkness, then bathed in ultra-violet light. Objects will mysteriously move by themselves and glow in the dark rather as if a poltergeist has taken over the stage. Fortunately, the supernatural is not behind the strange happenings. The real culprits for the spooky scene are a family trio of expert puppeteers entitled Les Puppetiques en Noir.
