It's panto time again - oh yes it is - but who is nibbling at Fairy Berry's house, and why is Granny Gertrude using fowl language? Why is Minnie always moaning and why is Heinz's sight a wonderful thing? Why has Goldilocks decided to Grabitt and what has caused Red Riding Hood to Legitt? Why is no one laughing at the Big Bad Wolf, and why are the three little piggies following the yellow brick road? For the answers to all of these, and for plenty more fun and slapstick and songs, make sure you make a date with "Hansel and Gretel". Go on, you know you want to really.... oh yes you do!Presented byHardwicke Players. Design Simon Davis. Author Joy Davis. Director Joy Davis.

Teenagers Hansel and his sister Gretel live a comfortable life with their widowed father in the city until father loses all his money... again. This time however, father comes up with a foolproof plan for success (again) as a woodcutter. The whole family, including Hansel and Gretel’s new stepmother, move to the middle of nowhere, also known as, a cottage at the edge of a spooky forest. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the forest is also home of the Wicked Wicked Witch who with the help of the Wolf lures Hansel and Gretel to her candy-clad cottage deep in the forest.
