An Arabian Night pantomime adventure. Sinbad returns from his sixth voyage to his hometown of Chandra. He is welcomed by his mother and friends as well as the beautiful Princess Parissa. Chandra is protected from harm by the mystical powers of the fabulous Cobra Jewel, but the country's peace and prosperity is threatened when the evil magician Mephisto steals the Jewel. Soon Sinbad and his friends are off on another voyage to find the Jewel, under the protection of the Genie of the bottle. Along the way they encounter Sea Monsters, Shipwrecks, Flying Carpets and a six armed, scimitar-waving creature called Khali. Can good overcome evil under the shifting sands of the desert and will the Jewel be returned to its rightful owner? And don’t forget our Adult Nights! His 8th Voyage - T1309752825

Following on the heels of last year’s hit production, Babes in the Wood, don’t miss Sinbad the Sailor as he sets sail on his 8th voyage to rescue the Persian Pearl of Peace from the hands of the wicked witch Evilena. Sinbad will not have to do this on his own: he has the help of the good fairy Fortuna, his rather daft sister Silly Sally and his mother Norma Snickers (landlady of the Anchor Inn) plus many others. Music, songs, dancing, comedy, slapstick and plenty of audience participation promise to be in keeping with SVG’s pantomime tradition that has kept audiences coming back through the decades.Author Alan P Frayn. Producer John Mabon. Producer Simon Landels. Choreographer Nancy Steele. Musical Director Bob Richards. Musical Director Judith Richards. Musical Director Bob Richards Band.
