Details

A fiercely honest autobiographical show in which Martinez interrogates her parents, live on stage. A show for anyone who has ever had a parent or ever been born. Featuring two special debut performers; Mila and Arthur, alias Ursula Martinez's Mum and Dad. Combining performance with cabaret turns, slide shows and a chat 'A Family Outing' is a funny and poignant show, particularly to the real family rows on stage which, for some reason, they have no difficulty improvising. A highlight of the 'Queer Up North '98' festival, where the show premiered, the renowned performance artist Ursula Martinez and her parents take us on a journey of discovery to find out the truth about families.
