Incorporating time travel, bedtime stories, first kisses and public transport, the Show Don't Tell Collective share stories of the lost times and lost places of our city, blurring the boundaries between installation art and spoken word. Show Don't Tell is a ground breaking spoken word collective finding new ways to tell stories. Brought together by spoken word artist, theatre maker Polarbear and the Albany from a pool of young and talented writers, Show Don't Tell create work which is fun, honest and beautiful. The three distinctly different writers that make up Show Don't Tell produced their first piece of work for the Albany in November 2010 as part of Rooted, a scratch festival of emerging spoken word.
