Details

A dark, epic and visceral story adapted from ancient Greek classics that tell how revenge haunts and wrecks successive generations. Based on six tragedies by Greek dramatist Euripides and one by Aeschylus, Age of Rage takes the Trojan War and the Atreides family as its starting point. A history of anger and violence is passed on from generation to generation, like a curse. This production combines music, performance and dance from a large ensemble cast to uncover the inevitability and hopelessness of a circle of violence.
