So unless my batteries run out, I get eaten by a lion or crushed by a machine, I roughly have a good idea how much time I have left. Nine 8-14 year olds, locked away in a room made of one-way mirrors. They peer into the future at themselves as adults and back at their recent past, as they prepare to leave childhood behind forever. Through live performance and recorded material, Before Your Very Eyes turns ideas about age and innocence upside down.
