Blooming Out is a clown show that explores the most significant moments in a woman's life in light-hearted and often hilarious ways. The fascination of beauty, the girly plays, the first time putting on make-up, the arrival of the period, the first kiss, maternity, love, work, social taboos and growing old: these are all explored through mime, clowning, physical theatre, music and humour, with touching scenes of great power and beauty.
