Meet the Bard in the raw; real and edgy. He's in crisis and contradiction but at full creative stretch. Based on Donald Smith's controversial novel Between Ourselves the show mixes live theatre and film to bring you an unfamiliar Burns for the 21st Century, focussing on his stay in Edinburgh, the pivotal crisis of Burns' life and career. An intimate portrait of Burns, premiered at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe to critical acclaim, it recreates his lost or unwritten diaries, describing Scotland through his own eyes, encountering the familiar and the unexpected. It's the man behind the myth, but one who wears many masks. Approx. Running Time: 1hr 5mins. Suitable for ages 16+
