New audiovisual experiences, online and off. A showcase of artists who use new musical interfaces and explore the audiovisual. Merging the audiovisual is becoming increasingly a central issue in the development of interactive media. Artists are fusing mediums including art, games, generative music and interactive environments, with a range of approaches, producing new audiovisual experiences. The exhibition will feature new work from Golan Levin, Stanza, ixi, Julian Baker, Future Farmers, Jey Malaiperman as well as Antoine Schitt, Peter Luining, Glorious Ninth and Submeta. This exhibition addresses the blurring of these boundaries and presents artists working at the edge of software development, art practise and the new musical interface. Convergence has been curated by stanza.
