Production details

Alex Farrell Productions is back with perhaps the most interesting concept to date. They have gathered two of the most talented teenage performers in the Midlands for a one-night-only 75 minutes of pure EnterTEENment. Keshia is a beautiful and talented seventeen-year-old singer from Tamworth who has been singing since she can remember. Eighteen months ago she joined a band called 'Everybody Wants to be Famous' and within two minutes of being together they foolishly entered the local 'Battle of the Bands' competition. They were rank outsiders - and they won, beating the clear favourites! This set the whole music scene in Tamworth talking, and the band went on to tour the Midlands successfully. Eventually Keshia went on to pursue a solo career. She is currently working on an album having been signed up by a record producer in London! She is half way through her A-Levels at Polesworth Sixth Form College and is loving every moment of it. Keshia is headlining the show with a 45 minute set and I can guarantee that she will bring the house down with her fantastic voice. Davut-Sebastian Atterbury, or Seb for short, epitomises funny - the man just has funny bones! In fact, his nose was so funny, he recently has had an operation to make it less funny - or at least I think that was what it was for! Seb has always been into performing arts, and he is not a stranger to The Old Joint Stock stage either, appearing as Scullery in Road last April, as well as Colonel Redfern to great acclaim in John Osborne's classic Look Back in Anger with Alex Farrell Productions in January. He has just finished a B-Tech in Acting at Halesowen College as well as a stand-up comedy degree - he certainly has the right credentials! Seb will be doing a short 20 minute routine to demonstrate his skills as a very talented and diverse eighteen-year-old comedian. This is something very different and yet very exciting, and I hope that people take 75 minutes out of their schedule to enjoy a display of talented youth, proving that a show put on by young adults can be just as good as the professionals.
