In the first half he will tell the ancient tale of Manawydan and the Enchantment on the Land of Dyfed, from the Four Branches of the Mabinogi; in the second he will pick up his squeeze-box and present a set of songs and tunes, accompanied by guitarist Daniel KilBride. Guto engages audiences with energy, immediacy and a soup?on of wry humour. Danny is a stunning musician and sensitive accompanist. Storyteller - T356729582Guto Dafis is one of Wales’ foremost storytellers, as well as being a distinctive melodeon player and singer. His performances are full of charm, energy and humour. During the past 12 months Guto has given storytelling performances at the Lorient Interceltic Festival in Brittany, Glastonbury Festival, and the Foyer Stage of the Wales Millennium Centre. He will be appearing at the Festival at the Edge in Shropshire this summer. | |
