Those truant kids you see hanging round Stratford Centre - homeless people you see selling Big Issues or rooting through rubbish - strange-smelling folk who talk to themselves, pushy strangers who step up and start preaching. . . all the outsiders and undesirables, who are they are really? Where do they all come from? A journey into the secret core of the strangers you cross the street to avoid. A journey that reveals us, connects us. A journey that brings us home. You are invited to join us in a celebration of our community staged all over Theatre Royal Stratford East this Easter. Developed by Rikki Beadle-Blair, Heartfelt explores the theatre and our community, featuring Stratford East Singers, Poets' Platform, State of the Nation, and Winging It. Heartfelt is part of our Open Stage 2012 season: a programme of shows that you have asked us to stage here at Theatre Royal Stratford East. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to see behind-the-scenes at the theatre, discovering performances in unexpected places!
