Kernow in the City

St Piran's Day is the national day of Cornwall and Kernow In The City is our celebration of this with a feast of Cornish music, film and poetry. Headliners Louis Eliot & The Embers bring joyous rural songs from new album Kittow's Moor; Radio 2's best folk newcomer Jackie Oates will sing a set of Cornish songs plus tracks from her wonderful album Hyperboreans; Perranporth trio Auction For The Promise Club muster up their shoegazey, big-choruses magic; Fisherman's Friends from Port Isaac will sing a cappella sea shanties; and through the evening there will be screenings of work by acclaimed illustrator Alex Turvey, readings of Cornish poetry and DJs til late.
