This charming and captivating piece explores the notion of tricks and the gap between perception and truth. The performance takes on the title of the place it is performed in, but this is less about the place directly and more about similarities that connect different cities. Since 1994, Grace has shown nationally and internationally, solo and collaborative work in performance, installation and video, but this project is the first time she has faced the exhilarating process of creating and presenting work entirely autonomously.
