Prepare to be plunged into a netherworld of dreams and desire as these transcontinental lovebirds weave together a collection of brooding, sensual and darkly humorous songs and stories for your delectation. Thrill to the provocative vocal stylings of Undine Francesca, Pommerland’s Chanteuse of Dischord. Swoon to the baritone croon of Mikelangelo - the Nightingale of the Adriatic. Together the duo take on romance and rock'n'roll from behind the iron curtain to create a hypnotic, thought provoking and hugely entertaining Kabaret Noir. Mikelangelo & Undine Francesca have entranced audiences and critics around the globe, from Sydney to New York, Edinburgh to Montreal, and Mikelangelo comes to BAC direct from his hit season with La Clique at the London Hippodrome. Mikelangelo and Undine Francesca are BAC artists in residence in December. During their stay they will be working with BAC supported artist Suzanne Andrade, co-creator of Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, to develop their new musical theatre piece The Honeymoon Suite.
