A new performance exploring ideas around displacement, looking at the tragic and comic plight of a performer who has had to leave their home and work in a foreign country. Unable to find work in his area of specialisation, he is forced to take minimum-wage work cleaning the dressing room of a famous international performer. The irony of his situation is not lost on him and as the story develops, so does his frustration. No one speaks his language and he is blamed for everything - from the falling ticket sales to the star performer himself fluffing his tricks. At best he is invisible, at worst, the butt of all jokes and the reasons for the failings of the theatre.
